A student may complete an
Interdisciplinary Women & Gender Studies minor by taking 18 hours. Required courses
are WMS 201, Introduction to Women's Studies and WMS 400, Feminist Theory
and Practice. An additional 12 hours of electives shall be selected from
the courses listed below. To ensure the Interdisciplinary nature of the
minor, courses shall be selected from at least two different departments.
Courses must be taken from members of the Women & Gender Studies Faculty.

397 are examples of classes approved for the Women's Studies minor. Other
topics may be approved for the minor as they are offered. Average GPA
of courses applied to minor must be 2.25 or better.
