The Women & Gender Studies Program at Eastern Kentucky University will be a leader in the creation of innovative curriculum, collaborative partnerships and the practice of feminism as a world view. We will promote global social justice through increased awareness of the connection between the actions of the individual and the well-being of others, as well as increased understanding of alternative perspectives. We are committed to service and activism to the Appalachian region.
